Our Services

Sunday Morning Worship 8:00am

There is something for everyone here at Christian United Baptist Church. We want to you to grow in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We also want to lift up His name and bring as many as possible to the knowledge of His saving grace and mercy. Just as a great building rests upon the structure of its foundation, so a church or our Christian life must be established on a firm foundation. Jesus Christ is that foundation and upon this Foundation we must build a structure based on solid bible truth. And even though God gives us our daily supply, we as Christians will still be “battle tested”. Believers must be able to enter this spiritual warfare spiritually prepared to live a life full of victory. Regular attendance to Sunday service does just that. It prepares us for victory over all of life’s temptations and the exclusive privilege of eternal salvation.

 Communion - First Sunday
 1 Corinthians 11:23-29

"For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:  And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.  After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.  For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.  Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.  But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.  For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. “

The significance of the Lord’s Supper is often lost in a moment of ritualistic observance. Christian Untied Baptist Church recognizes the importance of this holy ordinance and observes the Lord’s Supper in the form of Communion on the first Sunday of every month during our 8am service. 1 Corinthians 11:23-29 requires that we examine ourselves so that we do not eat or drink damnation upon ourselves before we eat of the bread and drink of the wine which represents the body and blood that was shed of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Sunday School 11:00am

2 Timothy 2:15

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

Here at Christian United Baptist Church, we believe that Sunday School is the foundation of all Christian learning and knowledge. Under the direction of the Sunday School Superintendent, we hold classes every Sunday immediately following normal Church service. We have an adult class and youth classes led by appointed leaders within the church. The term BIBLE has often been used as an acronym – Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth. As such, we are committed to making the most out of the time spent during these sessions as we realize that this may be the only time during the week that some people have to learn the principles of the Holy Word and be able to use it in their daily lives. If we can plant the seed of information, then maybe this tidbit can help them throughout the rest of their week until we meet again.

  Bible Study Wednesday 7:00pm

As an extension of Sunday School, Bible study is held every Wednesday for the worship and praise of our Creator as well as additional teaching, preaching and instruction. In most cases, the Pastor (or an appointee) directs this service for church members and guests. During these sessions, open communication is encouraged to promote understanding as well as thought provoking debates and discussions.

Our Bible study classes are open to members as well as non members. Anyone that is interested in joining our directed studies, is more than welcome. We understand that a true Christian is obligated to learn as much as possible. Knowing and understanding the word of God arms you with the truth and gives you the armor to protect yourself from being deceived by false prophets.

Outreach Ministry 1st Saturday 11:00am
 Mark 16:15

15And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

The purpose of our Outreach Ministry is to learn how to relate Jesus Christ to other people, regardless of their level of Spiritual experience. Once we have studied the word of God for our own understanding, it is our responsibility to spread the word and good news of our Lord and Savior. In order for us to be able to do this successfully, we must live the word in order to spread the word. Once we have prepared our own lives for Christ, we are then ready to serve and witness to others, keeping in mind that sometimes our testimony is not where we have been but instead, where we are going. Our goal as an ambassador for Christ is be able to approach people with love, kindness and confidence so that we can share God’s mission of seeking salvation through Jesus Christ. The Outreach Ministry meets every second Saturday at 11am.
